About Tom Ryan

The person doing your remodel

I am Tom Ryan. I am a retired firefighter with 20 years of service and have been running Ryan Home Services since 2001. That is not just a background detail to put on a website. It actually shapes how I do this work.

Firefighters are trained to pay attention to detail under pressure, to communicate clearly when things get complicated, and to be accountable for their work. That is what I bring to your home. When I tell you a kitchen will be done in 3 to 4 weeks, I mean it. When I find something unexpected behind a wall, I call you the same day, tell you what it is, what it costs to fix it, and I get your go-ahead before I move forward. No surprises on the final invoice.

I have been doing kitchen and basement remodeling in Salem, Windham, Andover, and the surrounding towns since 2001. That is 25 years of working in homes like yours in this part of southern New Hampshire and Massachusetts. I know the housing stock, I know the common issues in older homes around here, and I know how to build things that last in this climate.

Most of my work comes from people who hired me once and called me back. Or from neighbors they referred. I am not the cheapest contractor in southern NH, but I am not the kind of contractor who starts a job and disappears for weeks either. When you hire Ryan Home Services, you get me. I am the person who shows up for the consultation, pulls the permits, and is on the job every day until it is done.

I am licensed and insured in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Ryan Home Services, LLC is based in North Salem, NH.
